MSU medical school students and residents have been able to train at Bronson Methodist Hospital and Borgess Medical Center through a 40-year partnership between the university and health systems.
Jerry Kooiman, an assistant dean at MSU’s medical school in Grand Rapids, estimates that WMU’s new medical school will start admitting students in two years, at which time MSU will no longer partner with Bronson and Borgess.
