Illinois’ Franklin Hospital Reduces Work Force, Compensation

Franklin Hospital in Benton, Ill., will lay off a dozen employees, with the remaining staff taking pay cuts, according to a KFVS news report.

Citing reimbursement and economic challenges, the hospital announced the employees who get to keep their jobs, including administrative staff, will experience pay cuts ranging from 2-15 percent. The staff changes are expected to save the hospital more than $1 million in the next year.
