Vanguard Names William Foley President of Chicago Market

William Foley, who is resigning as CEO of Chicago’s Cook County Health and Hospitals System, has been named president of Vanguard Health System’s Chicago market effective May 15, according to a news release.

He will manage Vanguard’s four Chicago network hospitals: MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn, Ill., Weiss Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Westlake Hospital in Melrose Park, Ill., and West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, Ill.

Mr. Foley will replace Joe Mullany, who has served as Chicago market president for five years and will continue to serve as president of the New England market.
