UPMC Now Offers Advisory Services

University of Pittsburgh Medical Center is now offering advisory services to market the healthcare giant’s expertise and create a new revenue stream, according to a Pittsburgh Business Times report.

Recently, the health system partnered with Washington, D.C.-based consulting firm The Advisory Board to create UPMC Advisory Services. The entity will help providers develop integrated delivery systems. UPMC has been involved in 10 such projects nationwide, according to the report.

UPMC Advisory Services is part of the system’s International and Commercial Services Division.
