UP Health System Marquette CEO addresses community concerns

In an address to community leaders, Brian Sinotte, CEO of UP Health System Marquette (Mich.), assured listeners that he and his team are working hard to ensure they provide the best care possible in a changing healthcare landscape, according to ABC-10.

Mr. Sinotte called the meeting to address the ways his hospital is tackling challenges that are presented for a hospital in a time when insurance laws are in flux and 12 hospitals have already closed in the first half of 2017.

He told his audience that construction for the new hospital is coming along as scheduled and that his team is working on contract negotiations with the Michigan Nurses Association.
