Centra Health in Virginia Begins Construction on Inn for Patients’ Families

Centra Health, based in Lynchburg, Va., has started construction for a new inn designed for patients’ families, according to a New Era Progress report.

The $2.7 million inn is coming to fruition after more than 10 years of planning and will be located between Lynchburg General Hospital and Centra Alan B. Pearson Regional Cancer Center. At the inn, patients’ families can stay overnight, eat, do laundry and be closer to the patient.
