Trump to undergo physical at Walter Reed in early 2018, publicize details

President Donald Trump will be examined by physicians at Bethesda, Md.-based Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in early 2018 and the results of his physical will be made public, the Los Angeles Times reports.

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told reporters Thursday President Trump’s physical is scheduled “for the first part of next year” and will comprise “the full physical that most presidents go through,” according to the report.

President Trump, 71, forwent tradition during the presidential campaign last year when he chose not to disclose detailed medical records. However, he did release a letter from his personal physician, Harold Bornstein, MD.

In the letter, Dr. Bornstein, a gastroenterologist and internal medicine specialist at Great Neck, N.Y.-based Northwell Health, said President Trump would be the “healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency,” the report states.
