The Medicus Firm launches physician executive recruiting division

Physician search company The Medicus Firm is rolling out a new division dedicated to physician executive recruitment, called the Physician Leadership Division.

The firm has been helping staff physicians since 2001, and on a smaller scale has recruited physician executives by request over the last several years. With a new division dedicated to physician executive search, The Medicus Firm will now offer this service to clients nationwide.

"We are adding decades of experience to our executive recruiting team, and we have attracted some of the most tenured executive recruiters to this division," Steve Marsh, co-founder of The Medicus Firm and lead of the new division, said in a press release. "We plan to grow this division in the same manner we grew our clinical recruiting business, by providing unrivaled results, and helping our clients hire the physician leaders they need to meet their goals."

The division will assist with recruitment of positions such as chairs and chiefs of academic departments, CMOs, chief quality officers, CMIOs and service line medical directors. "Physician executive searches require identification of unique soft skillsets and culture fit, making sure our physician executive candidates are truly the kind of leaders our clients need to fit their organization's leadership team," Mr. Marsh said.
