Cambridge, Mass.-based Harvard University’s MBA program has the largest share of alumni that went on to become a CEO, according to the “Mid-year Volatility Report” from executive search firm Crist Kolder Associates.
The executive recruiting firm tracks the backgrounds and turnover of C-suite executives across 665 Fortune 500 and S&P 500 companies, 9.7% of which are healthcare organizations.
The firm tracked the MBA educational backgrounds of 665 sitting CEOs in the Fortune 500 and S&P 500.
Here are the MBA schools that produce the most CEOs, as well as how many sitting CEOs graduated from there, per Crist Kolder Associates:
