Carolinas is one of three health system vying to build a hospital Fort Mill. Tenet Healthcare, which owns Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, S.C.. and Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Novant Health have also filed certificate-of-need applications with the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control.
Carolinas paid a total of $3.1 million for the land.
