CHI is the parent company of St. Anthony Hospital, and the job cuts represent 1.7 percent of the 105-hospital system’s workforce.
Larry Blanc, communications director for St. Anthony Hospital, told the East Oregonian that the affected workers at St. Anthony Hospital were non-clinical employees. He also noted that the employees are set to receive severance packages and help in finding new jobs. Two of the employees have already secured new positions.
