The senator declared Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” he plans “to introduce a Medicare-for-all single-payer program” to Congress, according to the report.
In pursuing single-payer healthcare, Sen. Sanders said he aims to have both parties at the negotiating table, reports Politico. He ultimately believes such a plan could help decrease prescription drug prices — something he has long advocated for.
