The address listed on the layoff notice filed with Florida regulators is home to SymMetric Revenue Solutions, which provides healthcare revenue cycle management services. The company is part of Traverse City, Mich.-based ECI Healthcare Partners, which merged with Schumacher last year.
“These changes are necessary to continue advancing our mission, improve standardization of our processes, make better use of our space and provide the highest quality care for patients, with streamlined costs and efficiencies,” Schumacher spokeswoman Maura Nelson told the News-Press.
She said 52 employees affected by the layoffs have been offered jobs within the company and other affected employees will be able to apply for open positions at Schumacher.
The job cuts will occur between April and November.
