Rome (N.Y.) Memorial Hospital has named Darlene A. Burns, RN, the hospital's former president and CEO, as a board member, according to a Rome Sentinel report.
Here are three things to know about Ms. Burns.
1. She became president and CEO of Rome Memorial in 2002 and retired at the end of 2010 after nearly 40 years of service to the hospital.
2. Last year, she came out of retirement to serve as interim CEO of Rome Memorial.
3. Ms. Burns has a master's degree in healthcare administration.
