Ridgeview Medical Center board chairman appointed to Minnesota Hospital Association board

The chairman of Waconia, Minn.-based Ridgeview Medical Center’s board of directors, Mitchell Kilian, will now also serve on the board for the Minnesota Hospital Association.

Mr. Kilian is Hospital Board Certified by MHA and has served on Ridgeview’s board for eight years. He has been chairman since 2012.

Mr. Kilian is the director of governmental affairs for the Metropolitan Airports Commission. There he coordinates state and federal legislative issues that affect the commission’s seven metropolitan airports. He also assists with policy, procedure and strategy development for the organization. Mr. Kilian is a Waconia resident and graduate of St. Cloud (Minn.) State University.
