The number of retail clinics operating in the United States as of Jan. 1, 2012, reached 1,355, an increased of 128 locations since Jan. 1, 2011.
CVS’ MinuteClinic had the most locations, with 549, followed by Walgreens’ TakeCare Clinic (255) and Walmart clinics (154), according to the report.
