Quorum Health expands board of directors: 4 things to know

Brentwood, Tenn.-based Quorum Health has appointed three new members to its board of directors.

Here are four things to know:

1. Quorum’s board of directors appointed Jon H. Kaplan and William Paul Rutledge as independent directors.

2. Mr. Kaplan has served as a senior partner and managing director of the Boston Consulting Group since 2007. He previously served as a partner in the consulting division at Ernst & Young.

3. Mr. Rutledge has more than 40 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Since 2017, he has served on the board of directors of Shore Capital Partners, a healthcare-focused private equity firm. Since 2014, he has served on the advisory board of Clayton Associates, a healthcare-focused venture capital fund.

4. Quorum also appointed Robert H. Fish, the company’s president and CEO, to its board of directors. Mr. Fish began leading Quorum in May.
