Quorum Health board of directors member resigns: 5 things to know

Adam Feinstein, a member of Brentwood, Tenn.-based Quorum Health Corp.'s board of directors, resigned, effective Sept. 28.

Here are five things to know:

1. Mr. Feinstein noted  his decision to resign was due to his other responsibilities, including his role as the managing partner at Vesey Street Capital Partners.

2. He confirmed "his resignation was not the result of any disagreement with the Company with respect to its financial and auditing policies, operations or practices."

3. While on the board, he served as chair of the Audit and Compliance Committee and as a member of the Governance and Nominating Committee.

4. Terry Allison Rappuhn will fill the vacancy. She served as a director of Akorn, a publicly held specialty pharmaceutical company, since 2015.

5. Ms. Rappuhn served as senior vice president and CFO of Quorum Health Group from 1999 to 2001, after which she served on a number of boards.
