In addition to the 55 layoffs, work hours will be reduced for another 20 employees at the 191-bed Catholic hospital. Reductions affect employees at all levels of pay and training, including managers, licensed health professionals, support and clerical staff members, according to the report.
The hospital has said the layoffs and hourly reductions will save roughly $3.2 million.
