Pomerado Hospital officially renamed Palomar Medical Center Poway

Escondido, Calif.-based Pomerado Hospital, part of Palomar Health, has officially rebranded as Palomar Medical Center Poway.

According to a news release, the new name represents the comprehensive nature of Palomar Health, which has medical centers across the North County region of California.

Through the rebranding, the health system’s two other hospitals will now also be named for their locations in the community: Palomar Medical Center Escondido and Palomar Medical Center Downtown Escondido.
