PeaceHealth is currently in merger negotiations with Vancouver, Wash.-based Southwest Washington Health System, and relocating the services would fit into its merger plan, according to the report. The merger would create a company worth around $2 billion in revenues.
The health systems still need to clear a few hurdles, including approval from both boards, the Washington State Department of Health and the FTC, before a merger is finalized. No details as to PeaceHealth’s plans to build a new facility or lease an existing facility for its centralized services were revealed in the report.
