Mr. Brown has been the chairman for the Board of Commissioners of the Joint Commission, The National Kidney Foundation and the American Hospital Association, according to the release.
Brown noted about PatientMatters stating, “It became clear to me that PatientMatters understands the patient financial obligation issues and is positioned in a unique way to help hospitals improve their operating processes, staff and patient educational opportunities and the financial experience for hospital patients as a whole.”
CEO for PatientMatters Shelia Schweitzer spoke on the addition of Brown to the board.
