The seven public hospitals, all based in Louisiana, affected include: Earl K. Long Medical Center in Baton Rouge, University Medical Center in Lafayette, LSU Interim Hospital in New Orleans, Lallie Kemp Medical Center in Independence, Bogalusa Medical Center, Leonard Chabert Medical Center in Houma and W.O Moss Medical Center in Lake Charles.
LSU Health expects more cuts for their Care Sciences Center in Shreveport, which also will include hospitals in Monroe and Pineville.
