Virginia’s Shore Health Services Files CON for New Hospital

Nassowadox, Va.-based Shore Health Services has filed a certificate of need application to develop a hospital in Accomack County, Va., according to an Eastern Shore News report.

The hospital has signed an agreement to purchase 50 acres of land near U.S. Route 13 to develop the new facility. The agreement allows the hospital to terminate the sale if a better location is identified, according to the report.  

The state is currently reviewing the certificate of need application for the hospital.
