North Kansas City Hospital Plans $16M ED Expansion

North Kansas City (Mo.) Hospital has unveiled its plan for a $16 million emergency department expansion, according to a Kansas City Star news report.

Construction plans include 25,000-square-feet of new space, which will help the hospital accommodate its 80,000 emergency department visits per year. Construction is expected to begin this month, with a projected completion date of Feb. 2013.
