Under the agreement, Pam Jensen, senior vice president of Operations at ProMedica Flower Hospital in Sylvania, Ohio, will serve as Memorial Hospital’s president. Dan Brewer, associate vice president of business strategic development for ProMedica Physicians and Continuum Services, will serve as CFO. Both executives will take on their roles at Memorial Hospital on Jan. 1.
Both Ms. Jensen and Mr. Brewer will be leased to Memorial Hospital full-time. They will not serve in their capacities at ProMedica during the lease.
The management agreement will be effective until the joinder agreement between Memorial Hospital and ProMedica officially closes. Then, Memorial Hospital will become part of ProMedica. No timeline has been set for the joinder agreement closing.
Memorial Hospital previously had a management agreement with Brentwood, Tenn.-based Quorum Health Services.
