Participating hospitals include Akron (Ohio) General Medical Center, Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Ind., Owensboro (Ky.) Medical Health System, The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio, and Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Ind.
All 12 hospitals will be provided with methodologies aimed at improving patient safety across the healthcare organization. Focus areas include preventing patient falls, hand hygiene compliance, incorporating a patient safety culture and accountability, according to the news release.
