Ochsner Health CEO kicks off LinkedIn leadership series

Pete November, president and CEO of New Orleans-based Ochsner Health, kicked off a new LinkedIn series April 7 to spark conversations with healthcare leaders on the most pressing challenges facing the industry.

His first inquiry: “What’s one question you believe healthcare leaders should be spending more time thinking about right now?”

The series will pose questions across multiple topics, from industry trends and leadership lessons to the tools communities need to access care and what clinicians need to thrive. Mr. November said the questions will not always have easy answers, but that’s intentional.

“Healthcare is moving quickly,” he said in the post. “Expectations are rising. Our teams, our patients and our communities are asking more of us as leaders — and understandably so. After years in healthcare leadership, one thing has become clear to me: Progress doesn’t come from having all the answers. It comes from taking the time to reflect, to listen and to ask questions that challenge how we think and lead.”

At Becker's 4th Annual CEO + CFO Roundtable, taking place November 2–5 in Chicago, more than 1,500 hospital and health system executives tackle decisions that determine whether organizations thrive or merely survive: protecting margins under cost pressure, choosing where to grow, renegotiating payer relationships, stabilizing the workforce and proving real ROI on technology. This is where leaders work through them together, face-to-face. Apply for complimentary registration now.
