The union is bargaining for improved staffing, pay and benefits, according to the report.
If a contract is not signed, more than 2,700 employees at West Hills alone — including vocational nurses, certified nursing assistants and radiology technicians — are expected to go on strike. Registered nurses at West Hills are not represented by SEIU, according to the report.
