The rally, which lasted for more than an hour, took place outside San Dimas (Calif.) Community Hospital, which is operated by Prime Healthcare. The protesters rallied over several issues, including pay rates and hours, work conditions and staffing decisions.
A Prime Healthcare representative defended the hospital operator and San Dimas Community Hospital, citing the organizations as top performers in healthcare.
