NTT DATA appoints Michael Petersen, MD, as chief clinical innovation officer

NTT DATA Services, a global digital business and IT services leader, today announced Michael Petersen, M.D. has joined as the new Chief Clinical Innovation Officer.

Dr. Petersen is dedicated to helping clients solve complex challenges around health equity and social care in which data, analytics and technology can be applied to make a meaningful shift towards positive human-centric healthcare experiences.

Dr. Petersen joins NTT DATA from Accenture, where he helped shape the firm’s health equity point of view, capabilities and ecosystem. Before working in healthcare IT, he was an emergency medicine pediatrician at several large health systems, including five years as Chief of Pediatrics at Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital.
