The job cuts primarily affect administrative positions.

“With the goals of providing superior quality care to our patients and remaining in a leading position in our dynamic healthcare industry, Northwest Texas Healthcare System continually reviews and evolves its programs, services, operations, and administrative structures,” a Northwest spokesperson said via news release.

Northwest said affected employees, who will be “consolidated” effective Oct. 5, are encouraged to apply for open opportunities within Northwest. Hospital officials also said Northwest will be adding to outpatient programming.
