The hospital building, which used to house a telephone company, required extensive renovations in order to allow more room for private examination rooms, upgraded climate control and electronic medical records. These improvements were funded by an initial fundraising phase. A second fundraising phase is scheduled for the beginning of July to help fund more hours and staff at the medical center.
