A spokesman for the health system said Department of Labor and Industry inspectors have yet to review the hospital’s renovation progress, including concrete and rebar. The Department of Health also still need to send inspectors to review the hospital’s expansion plans for a specialty clinic and heart center, according to the news report.
The Mayo Clinic broke ground in 2010 to expand its Mankato campus. It was projected to be completed in Dec. 2011, though that projection has come into question due to recent events.
