Mark Tulis, chairman of the hospital’s board of directors, said in the report the hospital’s budget is shrinking, and there is “no Santa Claus anymore from the state or county.”
The Civil Service Employees Association plans to meet with Westchester officials to discuss potential ways to save costs without job cuts. Last week, the CSEA criticized the hospital for previous cuts without disclosing all financial records, such as executive compensation and program budgets.
Westchester’s President and CEO Michael Israel said information on administration salaries has been released in the past but did not give specifics on future layoffs or cuts, according to the report.
