New York’s Orange Regional Medical Center to Open in April

Orange Regional Medical Center is expected to open in April in Wallkill, N.Y., as a replacement  to Horton Medical Center in Middleton, N.Y., and Arden Hill Hospital in Goshen, N.Y., — both more than 40 years old, according to a news release by HBE Corp., the firm that designed and built the facility.

Orange Regional Medical Center represents the first free-standing replacement hospital built in New York State in more than 20 years, according to the state’s Department of Health.

The new seven-story, 374-bed hospital will include private patient rooms, an advanced birthing center, an emergency department, a healing garden and wireless healthcare information technology.
