New Jersey’s AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center Granted Permission to Build 6-Story Tower

AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Pomona, N.J., has been granted permission by the Stockton College Board of Trustees to construct a six-story tower on that campus, according to a Press of Atlantic City news report.

The board of trustees had the sole power of granting the hospital permission to expand since it owns the land on which the hospital is built. The planned tower will include 30 medical and surgical rooms, eight critical care beds and an intensive care unit, according to the news report. Construction is expected to take two to three years.
