Illinois’ Silver Cross Replacement Hospital to Open in February

Silver Cross Hospital’s replacement facility is on track to open in Feb. 2012, according to a Herald News report.

The $395 million, 289-bed replacement facility will be located in New Lenox, Ill., just three miles from the existing Silver Cross Hospital in Joliet. Hospital officials are working on moving a veterans’ clinic into the existing facility once the replacement hospital opens, according to the report.
