National Association of Professional Women inducts seasoned worker into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle

The National Association of Professional Women has named Denise Skrocki, MS, BSN, RN, a 2016-2017 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle.

The distinction recognizes her leadership in healthcare.

“I’m pleased to welcome Denise into this exceptional group of professional women,” NAPW President Star Jones said in a prepared statement. “Her knowledge and experience in her industry are valuable assets to her company and community.”

Ms. Skrocki serves as system director of patient experience at Burlington, Mass.-based Lahey Health. In that role, her key responsibilities include setting a strategy for great patient experience, building on positive and effective relationships between the patient and provider, and providing practical tools to improve communication among patients, families and hospital colleagues, according to a news release.

Previously, Ms. Skrocki was director of patient experience at UMass Memorial Health care, based in Worcester, Mass.
