Ms. Agee will officially take the reins in 2018.
The AHA appointed her to its board two years ago. Since then, she’s served in various capacities, including on its Regional Policy Board, Health Care Systems Governing Council and as a commissioner to The Joint Commission board.
“It’s an honor for all of us,” Ms. Agee said, according to the report. “I’m so humbled.”
