More than two-thirds of healthcare leaders would pursue their career again, MGMA poll finds

A vast majority of healthcare leaders are happy in their career, a new Medical Group Management Association poll reveals.

For the poll, researchers surveyed 1,352 healthcare leaders nationwide.

Respondents were asked if they love their career enough to pursue it again. More than two-thirds of the respondents (67.3 percent) said "yes," 18.2 percent said "no" and 14.5 percent were "unsure."

MGMA asked respondents who said "no" to explain their response. Researchers said the top two reasons cited for not wanting to pursue their career again are regulation and the industry being overly demanding.
