Michigan’s Ingham Regional to Lay Off 100-150 Employees

Ingham Regional Medical Center in Lansing, Mich., which is owned by McLaren Health Care, will be laying off 100-150 employees to make up for a decrease in patient volumes, according to a Lansing State Journal news report.

The job cuts will come mainly from administrative, managerial and clinical departments. Hospital officials said employees will start receiving notifications on Monday, with layoffs continuing over the following few weeks, and it will work to place as many laid-off employees as possible in other McLaren healthcare facilities, according to the news report.
