Meritus Medical Center Opens in Maryland, Replacing Washington County Hospital

Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, Md., has officially opened, replacing Washington County Hospital, which is now closed, according to a Herald-Mail report.

An alternate use for the Washington County Hospital facility has not yet been determined. If not one is not made by Dec. 11, 2011, the facility will be demolished, according to the report.
