The Mercy Perrysburg Cancer Center will have 12 oncologists under one umbrella, allowing for improved care coordination, enhanced integration with other specialists, better access to clinical trials and more care services, such as patient navigators, genetics counseling or nutritional counselors, according to the report.
The cancer center will be built just outside of Toledo, at Mercy’s freestanding emergency center in Perrysburg.
