Only 1.2 percent of 1,005 surgical sites surveyed by the STS received a complete 3-star rating. To receive a 3-star rating, facilities must demonstrate excellence in three procedures:
– Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery (CABG)
– Aortic Value Replacement (AVR)
– Combined CABG/AVR
