Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Hospital gets name change

Memorial Hermann The Woodlands (Texas) Hospital is now Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center.

The 351-bed medical center changed its name to reflect advancements in medicine and services provided at the hospital.

"Becoming a medical center further exemplifies how we have kept our promise to keep pace with this growing community," said Josh Urban, senior vice president and CEO of Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center.

At the same time, Mischer Neuroscience Center at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center moved to a new 25,000-square-foot space. The center comprises 20 physicians.
