Ms. Jayapal, who co-chairs the Medicare for All caucus, said it’s time for Democrats to go from being co-sponsors of the universal healthcare proposal to supporting it through votes.

Ms. Jayapal said her caucus is working on a revised version of the bill that they hope to introduce next session.
