Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic might expand its services to India, according to a St. Paul Pioneer Press report.

Mayo is exploring a possible collaboration to build a medical site in India.

Previous reports have said the hospital is in talks with GMR Group, an infrastructure conglomerate, and Apollo Hospitals Group, which operates 54 hospitals with many medical centers in India.

A Mayo spokesperson said the venture reflects the hospital’s commitment to serve patients around the world and share knowledge to advance healthcare delivery.
