Florida’s Memorial Healthcare System Revenue Up 7.5%

Memorial Healthcare System, based in Hollywood, Fla., has finished its fiscal year ending April 30 with a 7.5 percent increase in revenue, according to a South Florida Business Journal report.

The health system reported net income of $114.8 million and revenue of $1.46 billion, compared to net income of $117.5 million and revenue of $1.36 billion the last fiscal year, according to the report. Memorial Healthcare attributed it financial success to increased cardiac surgeries, increased volumes at Memorial Cancer Institute and improvements at Memorial Hospital Miramar.
