Lovelace, owned by Nashville, Tenn.-based Ardent Health Services, includes six hospitals and 4,000 employees. It said the reduction affected less than 2 percent of the system’s employed workforce and half of the positions affected were “outside contracted positions,” according to the report.
Employees involved in patient care were not affected.
